The Rohingya, the roots of a crisis

At the end of 2017 the spotlight was fixed as never before on the plight of the Rohingya. The persecution of this Muslim minority in the north of Myanmar had reached a level of violence which transfixed the attention of the media and international opinion.
In order to go beyond an emotional response and to understand the profound issues underlying this crisis, we are organising a special discussion between senior correspondent Gwenlaouen Le Gouil and Morgane Eches, co-ordinator for Myanmar at Amnesty International.
