Marine Pradel lives in Washington. She is a journalist. She divides her time between the White House, where she is accredited as a correspondent, and the neighbourhood where she has lived with her family for several years.
As soon as Trump returned to power, she sensed that something was shifting in the very nature of American democracy. She decides to film her neighbourhood, as her neighbours – Democrats and Latino immigrants – are being targeted. She also builds up a gallery of MAGA (Make America Great Again) figures and dissidents whom she films over the long term. Whether pro- or anti-Trump, their lives are set to be turned upside down by the US President’s aggressive exercise of power, in his eternal quest for revenge against his enemies within.
