Through five portraits of her loved ones – all figures of resistance – Pegah Ahangarani weaves an intimate account of her life. From the early upheavals of 1979 to the war that broke out in 2026, she weaves a dialogue between individual memory and collective history, painting a portrait of a country marked by political repression yet relentlessly driven by the desire for freedom and the hope of a revolution.
